Made from pieces of recycled Barmeri Cloth from the tribespeople of the Thar Desert in India. Embroidered with fine cotton and silk threads, and embellished with sequins and mirrors, the material may originally have been clothing, decorations etc which are then cut, glued and stitched into patchwork on cloth making each piece an individual work of art. The material will have been handmade sometimes handstitched sometimes hand sewn on an old, sewing machine. Perfect for brightening living space as a cushion, walls, or to use as table centre piece.
